Sadik is the Executive Director, researcher and Co-Founder of the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. He is currently serving as the West African Indigenous Language Coordinator at Art+Feminism, a steering committee member of the Wikimedia Language Diversity Initiative, and a board member of the Ghanaian Volunteer Program. With a passion for promoting indigenous languages and cultural heritage, Sadik actively contributes to various Wikimedia projects and community initiatives.
Abdul-Rasheed is an educator by profession with a background in Educational Psychology, a team member, and the project manager of the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. He is a member of The Europeana Network Association (ENA) and an event organizer at Art and Feminism. He is an Advisory Board member of Read To Change Initiative Ghana, a certified Reading Wikipedia in the Classroom trainer. He believes in making knowledge freely accessible and contributing to free knowledge; hence, he is a Wikimedian. Abdul-Rasheed has contributed to Wikimedia projects as user:Din-nani1 since 2015.
Khadija Iddrisu User:Dhee Jah is a team member of the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group as well as the IT Manager for the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. She is responsible for the development and maintenance of the User group's Website as well as the promotion of its projects by designing flyers. Khadija has also participated in organizing some projects for the Dagbani Wikimedians user group, including the My Northern Achievers Contest, WikiLoves Earth 2021, and WikiLovesHumanRight. Outside of the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group, She is currently working as a Data Scientist and a Regional Ambassador for the Mastercard Foundation Alumni Committee.
Awal was formerly the Communications Manager for the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group and is currently the Co-Lead to the Dagaare Wikimedia Community to provide general training and technical support on their language Wiki. He is a Language Activist, communication and social media enthusiast, a content creator, and a translator. He plays several voluntary roles in organizing Wikimedia projects and co-leading working groups, presentations in calls, and as well as during conferences.
Fuseini Mohammed Kamal-Deen is a trainer at the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group and the Wikimedian in Residence for the Wikidata for Education project. He is a member of the CyberA project lead team and a technical support officer at the GurenÉ› Wikimedia Community. He contributes to Wikimedia projects under the username User:Dnshitobu. He is a co-facilitator in Dagbani Wikimedians' tele-education program on TV, dubbed Dagbani Wikipedia Saha. Passionate about maps, he has championed a lot in that regard. He is a professional teacher with a background in Information technology and a volunteer for many other community organizations. He is a content developer and a poet by passion, and he serves as a guidance coordinator in unearthing potential. He recruits and provides digital skills training in open ecosystems. He is a biodiversity activist who contributes to iNaturalist.
Hamidu Rukaya (username:Ruky Wunpini) is the logistics manager for the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. She plays a crucial role as a co-facilitator in the Dagbani Wikimedians' tele-education program on TV called "Dagbani Wikipedia Saha". Additionally, She serves as one of the jury members for the Parliament of Ghana writing contest organized by the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. She is a dedicated Digital Language Activist, motivated by her passion for language preservation, documentation, and promotion. She actively utilizes various Wikimedia projects, such as Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, and Wikivoyage. Rukaya is a teacher by profession with a background in management, and she volunteers for other local base organizations in Tamale.
